|Kenneth Anger's Magick Lantern Cycle Short Films (1947-1972)|

NOTE: This is a re-rip and a re-upload because someone pointed out that my previous upload of this mistakenly included only Anger's audio commentary and had missed the music-only tracks for several of these films.
A collection of experimental films directed by gay avant garde filmmaker Kenneth Anger: 'Fireworks' (1947), 'Puce Moment' (1949), 'Rabbit's Moon' (1950), 'Eaux d' Artifice' (1953), 'The Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome' (1954), 'Scorpio Rising' (1963), 'Kustom Kar Kommandos' (1965), 'Invocation of My Demon Brother' (1969), 'Lucifer Rising' (1972).
None of the films are really specifically and directly gay (except possibly for Fireworks), but all of them (some moreso than others) just reek of homoeroticism and gay subtext.
Ripped from the BFI Blu-ray disc. Extras include the alternate version of Rabbit's Moon, another Anger short titled The Man We Want To Hang (2002), and a Restoration Demo (a split screen video showing the before and after look of the restorations done on these classics).
All are in MKV format with the original disc's PCM (uncompressed) audio. All of the shorts include a music-only track and an optional audio commentary track by director Kenneth Anger (except The Man We Want To Hang, which oddly has a blank audio track, and the Restoration Demo which has two blank audio tracks). There are also no subtitles because these are basically all silent films (no subtitles for Anger's commentary either).
